Visual stimulation overload . . .

We're very busy, stopping at new ports almost every day now.  For this bit we are going to include lots of photos, but only make very short comments.

Manila, Philippines -  Port Greeting

JeepneyStreet Vendor

Very Catholic City - Beautiful church.

The Manila Hotel Lobby

Mani/pedi anyone?

 Contrasts - Along Manila Bay

The Mall of Asia - Largest mall in SE Asia.

Hong Kong, China - Entering Hong Kong Bay

Port Greeting

Morning tea break.

Dry food and herbal market; i.e., the wholesale medication district.

Fish for dinner?

Man Mo Temple

The Peak and a poodle fix.

Needs no explanation.

Wall-to-wall skyscrapers., set against Aberdeen, the one remaining floating village.

Repulse Bay - Very exclusive area.

JUMBO , the floating restaurant, accessible only by boat.

The flower market.

Pooches with shoes!

The Bird Market

H&M, Hong Kong

    The news stand.

Hanoi, Viet Nam - No Port Greeting

Traffic moves in all directions simultaneously and there are no traffic lights.

Ha Long Bay, Viet Nam - UNESCO World Heritage Site

Land masses are too steep to build on so small floating villages are the norm.

Begging along side of the Silver Spirit.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr . . .

Saigon, Viet Nam - At Port in the Container Port (1 hour outside of Saigon)

Skyscraper complete with helipad.

The Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel.

 The night market.

The Ao Dai - traditional Vietnamese dress.

The night market and street food - looked and smelled great - should have eaten there.

Still Saigon - The Mekong Delta

A stop for some fresh fruit and then lunch, which included  local Elephant Fish.

Fantastic photo's, as they say, "one picture is worth a 1000 words".....Ha Long Bay looked amazing, as did many of the other photo's. Hard to believe how people coexist so close to one another.

Enjoy!!!
